On November 29, 2022, “Traditional Chinese Tea-making Techniques and Related Customs” was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

There are more than 60 countries and regions that produce tea globally, and the number of tea drinkers exceeds 2 billion.
To comprehensively and vividly display Chinese tea culture, deepen the cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and Malta, the China Cultural Center in Malta will launch the “Tea for Harmony · Yaji Cultural Salon” series of activities on social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and WeChat, to share the tea fragrance and charm, and a beautiful life with the Maltese people.
