In 2004, the CCC launched its first Chinese language class.

In the past 18 years, about 1 thousand language learners had joined courses at different levels ranging from Beginners to Advanced levels.

Every academic year, the class offers a total of 30 lessons ( 1.5 hours per lesson per week ) at each level starting from October and ending in June, catering for those who are interested in the Chinese language aged from 12 onwards. The scholarship is available!  Three excellent students will have the opportunity to attend our fantastic and complimentary China Cultural Centre Award Tour in China, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China every year (Subject to the Covid-19 measures).

In 2017, the CCC and the Confucius Institute at the University of Malta started institutionalized cooperation, shared teacher resources, and successively launched Chinese courses at various levels.

In 2019, the CCC opened a Chinese reading class for children. In the same year, the CCC cooperated with the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) for Chinese Language courses.

In 2021, the CCC was invited by Vedala International School to explore the provision of Chinese language courses for culture in the school’s IBCP Program.

We welcome proposals for collaboration from institutes and organizations on regular Chinese language classes or targeted customized Chinese experience courses
