The website of the China Cultural Centre (hereinafter “the Site”) and all the elements available on the Site are the exclusive property of the China Cultural Centre (hereinafter “the Centre”). It is strictly forbidden to infringe the Centre’s intellectual property rights. The texts, layout, drawings, photos, films, graphics and other elements of the Site are protected by copyright. Any copy, adaptation, translation, public communication, modification of all or part of the Site in any form and by any means, electronic or other, is strictly prohibited without the Centre’s prior written consent. Any infringement of these rights may result in civil or criminal proceedings. The inclusion of hypertext links to all or part of the Site is allowed, provided that there is no confusion for users, between the Site and other websites.
Privacy and protection of data
The processing of personal data and the management of the Centre’s members are subject to the GDPR. When registering as a member, the user has to provide his/her name, first name and email address. Other fields such as phone number, address, and interests are optional and will be used particularly to better target the activities offered by the Centre. Once registered on the Site, the member automatically receives an email informing him/her that his/her application has been received but has yet to be confirmed by the Centre. The Centre reserves the right to accept or deny a registration on its Site. The user is informed about the Centre’s decision regarding his/her registration in a subsequent email. Once the registration is confirmed by the Centre, the user has access to his/her personal profile. The user can then freely edit or delete information from his/her personal profile. The data collected during registration is stored in the Centre’s database, which agrees, as the owner of these data, not to disclose them to a third party. Registering as a member also automatically generates a subscription to the Centre’s newsletter. If desired, the user can unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking on the link provided for this purpose and included in each newsletter. If the member decides to cancel the newsletter subscription, the Centre nevertheless reserves the right to retain his/her data. The Centre also reserves the right to inform by email its members about the changes of its own services and any change in the Terms of use.

This Site uses cookies. The code included in the cookie is used to recognise a computer during a later visit on the Site. The cookie is used, among other things, to save the language and display preferences of the user so that during a subsequent visit, the website appears directly in the language and with the display preferences previously chosen.The information collected is anonymous and does not allow the identification of a person. Indeed, the information related to cookies cannot be associated with a name and/or first name because they do not contain personal data.Cookies are managed by the browser. The Centre takes the utmost care in creating and updating its Site. However, the Centre cannot guarantee the precision, comprehensiveness and accuracy of the translated information. It also cannot warrant that the Site will always be complete and that it will be updated in all respects on a regular basis. The information displayed on this Site may contain typing errors or content inaccuracies. The Centre takes no responsibility for the content of the Site and its use. The Centre shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from hacking by a third party leading to a change of the information available on the website or in case of force majeure.
The Centre also assumes no responsibility with regard to problems encountered when accessing the Site. All items downloaded from the Site are entirely at the user’s own risk. The user is sole responsible for any damage to his/her computer or any loss of data resulting from downloading. In general, the Centre cannot in any event be held liable for either direct or indirect damage or any other damage of any other nature resulting from the use/impossibility of use of the Site for any reason, should the liability be contractual or not, delict or quasi delict, or whether it should be based on strict liability or other, and this even if the Centre should have been advised of the possibility of such damage. The Centre will in no way be held responsible for the actions of users.
